Larger plots are typically for 3 new homes or more. They can be disused brownfield sites that have been built on previously or greenfield sites commonly on the edge of towns that have never been developed. More simply, they can just be sites redesigned to make better use of the space, such as the demolition of a detached house on a large plot to be replaced by a greater number of new homes.
